Curtiss P-40N Warhawk "Geronimo" |
This is my 1/32 Hasegawa P-40N Warhawk with the markings of 'Geronimo' 45th FS on Nanumea Airfield, Ellice Islands, Dec 1943.

As may be seen in the reference picture, this P-40N has early style large wheels instead of 27 inch “N”wheels.

In the cockpit I have used Eduard instrument panel and seat belts.

Exhausts replaced with Eduard brassin set.

For painting I have used Gunze Sangyo and Tamiya acrylics. Sand color is a mix of Tamiya XF15, XF57, White and few drops of red color.
Customized “Geronimo” nose art is from CustomHobby Decals.
