Hasegawa's 1/48 scale
P-40N Warhawk

This is my 1/48 scale P-40N from Hasegawa.

I focused on building this kit with the minimal amount of extra detailing, concentrating on the focus points of a model.

This included the hiding of the fuselage seam line at the big oil cooler intake, scratch building new gear bay doors, wing pylons and adding rivet detail. 

I added some wires to the main gear bay; but the cockpit was left OOB.

I think it is adequately detailed for this scale.

I used Gunze acrylics for painting and the excellent Eagle Strike 48147 "Birds of Prey, Warbirds and Kittyhawks Part I" decal sheet for markings.
