Messerschmitt Me 262 A-2a

Here is my 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Me 262A-2a in the markings of “Black X” of 2./KG 51.

This aircraft is now on display at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

The cockpit was modified using the Eduard instrument panel and Quickboost seat.

Wheels were replaced with Barracudacast resin goodies.

I used Gunze Sangyo acrylic paints and Alclad metalizers.

Decals are from the old Cutting Edge CED32071 set.
