Xtradecal has just released a brand new 1/48 scale decal set covering the de Havilland Vampire F.3 and FB.Mk.5. These are intended for the new Airfix kit.
Although the Airfix kit is labelled an F.3, most of the parts required to deliver an FB.5 are included in the box too.
These should fit the older limited run Classic Airframes and resin Alley Cat kits too.
Nine subjects are offered.
A nice selection of interesting colours are markings are included.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one double-sided A5 sheets.
Both side views and upper and lower views are provided for all nine subjects.
Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.
The decals are perfectly printed and feature thin carrier film.
