Advantages:

Nicely produced photo-etched set with minuscule attachment stubs to remove.

Disadvantages:

None noted.

Conclusions:

This is a very useful set to enhance the Academy kit but probably adaptable to any ‘G’ model kit. Recommended.

Packaged in Brengun’s familiar red backed card with a reusable sealed clear sleeve and a card sheet to prevent damage to the parts, this 70x60mm PE set is designed for the Academy kit but I’m sure that most parts will fit other kits with a bit of prior check-fitting. 

65 parts are provided covering a number of cockpit enhancements such as belts, gunsights, pedals, levers, an armoured pilot’s bulkhead and a whole observer/gunner’s seat. 

The exterior gets quite a few past to enhance or replace kit parts such as radiator and dive brake details, new flap actuators, and some snazzy parts to add to the under-wing canons including lovely flash covers. This will all lead you with a very nice model if used carefully.

No painting guide is offered on the single sided A5 clear instruction sheet.

This is a very useful set to enhance the Academy kit but probably adaptable to any ‘G’ model kit.
