Eduard is expanding their range of decals. This makes sense, as these after market decals will be ideal for Eduard's Overtrees series of kits with plastic parts only at a bargain basement price.
Of course they will also be suitable for any other kit os the same subject.
Today I am examining Eduard's 1/48 scale Wilde Sau Bf 109 G-6 JG 300 decals.
The Luftwaffe's Wilde Sau were night fighter aircraft that engaged British bombers illuminated by ground searchlights in 1943 and 1944. In my opinion, the Wilde Sau of JG 300, 301 and 302 wore some of the most interesting schemes of all Luftwaffe fighters.
Eduard's decal set offers five marking options.
The instructions are supplied on six A5-sized pages in full colour. Each subject is covered in four view illustrations - two sides, top and bottom.
Colour callouts are provided for Gunze acrylics, Mr Color lacquers and Mission Models paints.
The decal sheet is glossy and well printed. Nationl markings and spinner spirals are included on the sheet. Stencil decals are available separately.
This set of decals will be ideal for anyone building the Overtrees version of Eduard's Bf 109 G-6 and fans of Wide Sau schemes in general.
Thanks to Eduard for the sample.
