GasPatch Models is well known for their beautiful pair of injection moulded 1/48 scale Henschel Hs 123 kits, but they also produce a good-sized line of accessories.
These include a range of machine guns that are suitable for WWI, between-the-wars and WWII subjects.
GasPatch Models has sent a selection of their new 1/72 scale guns for review. Tonight we examine three sets of Parrabellum and MG 15 machine guns.
All sets include two one-piece guns plus ammunition feeds.
Each of the guns feature beautiful detail.
3D printing quality is to the highest standard, while detail is amazingly crisp. The guns really are very impressive indeed.
There will be very little cleanup required prior to assembly and painting. The guns are cast via fine strips that will be a snap to clean up - almost literally, I'm sure.
The guns being reviewed tonight are:
19-72203 – Parrabellum 14 (2 guns) €6.00
19-72204 – Parrabellum 1417 (2 guns) €6.00
19-72214 – MG 15 (2 guns) €6.00
Some of the parts are delicate, so care will be required when handling and painting.
Packaging is simple but effective. The parts are contained in a clear blister pack and immobilised by custom-cut foam to ensure the delicate parts are delivered in perfect condition. All of my samples are free from any damage.
Instructions are not included, nor are they really required. Assembly is pretty much self-explanatory.
This is only a selection of the guns on offer. I would encourage you to visit GasPatch Models' website to see the full range available in 1/72, 1/48, 1/32, 1/24 and 1/16 scales.
GasPatch describe these guns as "Elite Accessories" and this is no exaggeration. They have delivered a truly exquisite line of beautifully detailed 3D printed machine guns.
The detail in the small scale of 1/72 really has to be seen to be believed. They are tiny jewels that will make your WWI, between the wars and WWII German aircraft subjects sparkle.
Just wow!
Thanks to GasPatch Models for the samples.
