BarracudaCast is the resin accessory arm of Roy Sutherland's Barracuda Studios enterprise.

BarracudaCast has released a new 1/48 scale replacement main wheel bay set for the Airfix Hawker Sea Fury kits.

The set comprises one large resin main wheel well part, wing spars / front walls, bulkhead and small detail parts.

The big main wheel well part is very impressive, with structural detail, electrical wiring and plumbing cast in place.

Smaller parts include supports and other structural details.

Some thinning of the kit parts will be required, but this should be well within the capabilities of modellers who have worked with resin conversions before.

A double-sided, letter sized instruction leaflet provides step-by-step illustrations and text to walk through preparation and installation.

Casting is up to BarracudaCast's usual excellent standards on my sample.

This is a high quality and superior detailed replacement for the Airfix Sea Fury main undercarriage bay.
