Here’s my brand new Kinetic 1/48 scale TF-104G Starfighter that I have just finished and photographed.

The only aftermarket accessory here is a pair of KASL Hobby MB.GQ-7(A) Ejection Seats.

Most of the decals are from the kit decal sheet but the MARINE lettering, unit badges and anchor markings are taken from my old Victory Productions F-104 decal sheet.

I really enjoyed building and painting this one. Fit and detail are excellent; surface textures are crisp and subtle; and there are lots of useful options including open radar nose, equipment bays, canopies, alternative ordnance and more.

I can thoroughly recommend Kinetic’s Gold Class 1/48 scale TF-104G Starfighter.

I’ll be writing this one up for Issue 185 of Model Airplane International magazine.
