This is my 1/48 scale Monogram / ProModeler Republic P-47 N MASS. AIR GUARD.

Assembly of the model quite complex especially for the fuselage to wing join that requires very annoying filling that makes NM painting difficult.

The kit features good detail in the cockpit and landing gear.

The recessed panel lines were reduced by sanding and rescribed with an engraver.

The metal finish is a mixture of AK Xtreme metal paints. For the red I used Humbrol 153.
