Boeing 747-300 |
Introduction
The Boeing 747 is one of the most famous commercial planes in the world and has remained for decades as the largest ever manufactured. Among the several airlines that ordered it was the Brazilian VARIG. This company acquired since 1981 in versions 200, 300 and 400 and used until 1994.
Altogether there were 10 units, 5 of which were version 300. They were then used on international flights and remained until the company's extinction which was in 2006.
Construction
This is a great model that came to be made in version 400. Then I made the changes to be made in version 300 that were the removal of winglets and in place I added the existing antennas.
Also changes in the number of windows and additions of antennas in the fuselage.
Painting and Markings
I chose to do it in VARIG's painting, which was one of the last paintings that this company sported using Brazilian CCS decals. After finishing I applied shiny varnish to give protection and shine to the painting.
Thanks for listening
