Xtradecal has released a new decal sheet covering six Fi 156 Storch colour schemes for 1/72 scale kits.

 

 

Luftwaffe and foreign service schemes are offered here, including US and French war prizes.

 

 

Details of the twelve aircraft are as follows:

  • 5K+ZA Stab/KG3 WNr 5253 Smolenska Russia 1942 RLM70/71/65;

  • Green Z Stab II/SchG.1 Russia 1941 RLM70/71/65:

  • Trop SF+RL Wustennotstaffel used by Feldmarschall Erwin Rommel, Nth Africa 1942 RLM70/71/65 with RLM79 squiggles;

  • TI+PK WNr5061 Uffz Blaschke of 2(H)10 Greece 1941 RLM70/71/65;

  • F-1 Fi-156D-1 KR+QZ Norway RLM21 White/65;

  • Fi-156C-3 R. Rumanian AF Eastern Front 1942 RLM70/71/65 + 79;

  • Fi-156C-1 Finnish AF 1941 ST-112 Olive Green/RLM65;

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across one folded double-sided A4 and one double-sided A5 sheet. Both side views plus upper and lower views are provided for all twelve schemes.

 

 

A selection of German, Red Cross, Finnish, Swedish, Spanish, US, French and Romanian national markings is included.

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

 

 

As usual, the decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.
