Lifelike Decals has produced a correction set for the famous “Desert Warrior” B-25C that Airfix produced.

The kit decals were missing several important markings as well as having some of the prominent nose art with incorrect colours.

A couple of examples of this error are the land mass on the map should be a lemon yellow not the greeny colour on the decals, the kit is missing the “Earthquakers” text on both outer engine nacelles and the Arabic text and bomb markings from the nose art are the wrong colours. This small correction set doesn’t replace all of the decals but only those that are incorrect or those which were missing. It works to complete the aircraft markings along with the Airfix decal set.

Lifelike Decals has also supplied reference notes to explain the corrections and a list of references from which they concluded their results.

The quality of their printing, done by Cartograf, is always exceptional. Always in perfect register, thin yet quite hardy to work with and they set down well into detail really well with Micro Sol / Set (from experience).

If you want to complete a historically correct version of the B-25C “Desert Warrior” then this is a must for you.  I also like Lifelike’s approach with some excellent detailed notes for each aircraft as well as their reference list.
