Bf 109 G Basic Decals

Eduard has produced three sets of decals covering the general markings for their Bf 109 Gs, these being a set of stencils, a set of mixed Balkenkreuze and a set of Swastikas for tails. All sheets are crisply printed and appear to be in excellent register. The set of stencils is a comprehensive set which will give you, the modeller a number of hours of decaling joy.

You may well ask, why we need these sets when the models come with decals. Well, for those that have purchased Eduard’s nice and well-priced over tree kits to build using left over unit marking decals from other kits, you’ll be in need of these general markings. Also, those modellers in European countries in which swastikas are not allowed to be part of kit decals, here’s a set to give you that historical accuracy. There is a third and very valid reason which many of us have struck in our years of modelling…..you’ve managed to ruin decals either in your ham fisted application or at some other stage and need to replace/repair. These are your solution. Always handy to carry some spares.

I’m also sure that a number of these could be used on other single engine Luftwaffe fighters like the Fw 190’s and earlier/later Bf 109s.
