Eduard has produced two wheels sets for the 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire Mk.IXc, but I’m sure they will fit your Revell and Pacific Coast kits as well.
The first set is for a smooth tyre and the second set is for the block patterned tread. You will need to check your aircraft references to select which set you will need for your build. The block patterned set could also be used for the Mk VIII kit.
Each set consists of seven beautifully cast grey resin parts consisting of the main wheels, hubs for both sides and a tail wheel.
Eduard’s separate hubs make for a stress free and speedy painting process.
The tyres have raised Dunlop branding and number coding on the side walls. All detail is crisp and apart from the casting block marks, which are on the flattened section, there is no cleaning up needed.
A set of self-adeshive die-cut paper masks are supplied to even make the painting process easier.
A couple of very nice, well detailed and produced sets that will enhance any of your large scale Spitfire Mk.IXc or Mk VII builds. I am certainly going to use the pattern set on my Tamiya Mk VIII build.
Thanks to Eduard for the samples and images.
