Tamiya's 1/32 scale P-51D Mustang is available online from Squadron.com for just $146.99!
This is my 1/32 scale Tamiya P-51D Mustang finished in the markings of “Butch Baby”, flown by Joseph Broadhead, Commander of 362nd FS, 357th FG, March 1945.

Cockpit modified with Barracudacast resin seat, Yahu instrument panel and RB Productions' P-51D Mustang Cockpit Floor decal.

I decided to puttying the rivets on the wing surfaces. The surfaces were puttied using Tamiya basic putty.

Painting was done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics. Upper surfaces was painted British Dark Green and under surfaces Grey.

National insignia and red/yellow checkers on the nose were filched from a suitable EagleCals set.

Code numbers, tail numbers and nose art are from old Hasegawa’s kit.
Finally, the wheels were replaced by Barracudacast’s goodies.
Happy Modelling!
