I’m proud to present you one of my latest model, the Laird Solution in 1/48th scale.

The base is the old Hawk/Testors kit, but heavily modified. From the kit, I kept :

• the propeller, with some additions

• the engine cowl, but with a new front shape

• upper and lower wings, but with a new skin

• horizontal stabilizers and elevators

All others parts are scratchbuilt, except the engine from Vector range, and wheels (a modified resin copy from the Paragon Design Supermarine type 300).

The model is paint with Tamiya paints. Beautiful decals are made specially by Jim Botaitis (Jbot Decals), including “77” on the fuselage.
