Xtradecal has released a selection of new 1/72 scale stencil decals for the brand new Airfix Phantom FG.1 and forthcoming FGR.2 kits.

In this review, we are examining Xtradecal Item No. X72288 - RAF McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1 & FGR.2 Stencils Pt.1

This set offer black and red stencil decals plus other high visibility markings including large serial numbers for the lower surfaces of the wings.

Instructions for the decal sheet are provided across one folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets. The location of the markings are clearly marked on the detailed line drawings.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

This release offers a comprehensive stencil decal solution to anyone building an RAF Phantom FG.1 or FGR.2 from the new and forthcoming Airfix kits.
