Spencer Pollard has a new book on building the Supermarine Spitfire, available now:

Let’s Build… The Supermarine Spitfire

This 44 page modelling guide takes you through five complete builds of this iconic aircraft with chapters on kits ranging from 1:72, right the way through to 1:32. The book covers the Airfix 1:72 Mk.1a, Eduard, 1:72 Mk.IXe, Eduard 1:48 Mk.VIII and Mk.XVI and finally, the Revell 1:32 Mk.IX. There is also a detailed walk-round of the Biggin Hill Heritage Hanger’s LF Mk.XVIe.

Printed on high quality 130gsm paper with 250gsm cover, the book offers plenty of hints and tips, with all projects laid out in an easy to follow, clear and concise manner.

Images are sharp and bright and details easy to see across all of the pages  - there are no thumbnails in this book!

Along with features built, photographed and written by Spencer Pollard, the book also contains two newly commissioned work by Alan Price and Drewe Manton who have both created two very fine models for readers to enjoy.
