Fine Molds' Babs and Judy in 1/48 scale; and Aoshima's Shiden, Special Hobby's Oscar and Tamiya's Hien in 1/72 scales, are all lovely kits with a high level of detail and state-of-the-art surface textures.

 

 

Dead Design Models has released a number of self-adhesive die-cut masks, this time providing canopy masks and national markings for a variety of subjects. Dead Design is offering these sets for Fine Molds' Babs and Judy in 1/48 scale; and Aoshima's Shiden, Special Hobby's Oscar and Tamiya's Hien in 1/72 scales.

The application of the masks could not be simpler - peel off the backing and apply to the painted surface of the model, spray the paint over the top of the masks then remove the masks once the top coat is dry.

 

 

Masking the simple meatballs will be a sensible option over the bare metal finish, and rhe canopy masks will be a real time saver, while also offering precise and crisp frame lines on your models' canopies.
