This is my 1/32 Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk.V Series 2.

It is finished in the markings of SN222  JF-E "Le Grand Charles", from  3 Squadron RAF, Fassberg, late April / early May 1945.

I have used Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk.V “Hi-Tech” kit.

The cockpit was upgraded with Yahu instrument panel and a CMK resin seat.

Some wiring was also added to the cockpit sidewalls.

I used Barracudacast Tempest Mk.V Nose Correction set due to shape problem of the kit.

The problem with the kit nose is that the spinner baseplate diameter is too big. This throws out the taper of the forward cowling.

The radiator opening is also too big. This causes problems with the shape of the radiator housing.

Exhausts were replaced with CMK exhaust set.

Painting done with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics. Kit decals are excellent.
