Messerschmitt Bf 109 D-1 |

Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt is available online from Squadron.com
This is 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf-109D-1 with the markings of 2./JGr 176 in Gablingen during August 1939.

I have used Eduard Bf-109 E-1 as base kit and converted it to a D-1 by using the Alley Cat conversion set.

Additionally I used the Quickboost pilot seat and Aires wheels.

Painting done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics. The scheme is classical RLM70/71 over RLM65.

I used the old Cutting Edge #32091 decal sheet. But the sharkmouth decal has been damaged during installation due to old age. That's why I decided to use the mask for the sharmouth figure. The Custom Mask is from DN models.
Happy modelling!
