Advantages:

Xtradecal has released a second new decal sheet for the newest Airfix 1/72 scale Handley Page Victor release. Seven aircraft are covered, including the Strategic Reconnaissance SR and nuclear capable B.Mk.2.R. The Airfix kit includes a Blue Steel nuclear missile.

 

 

Five of the subjects are finished in Dark Green and Medium Sea Grey over white camouflage, with the remaining two being finished in overall Anti-Flash White. One set of B style roundels and fin flashes; four low-viz D Type roundels and fin flashes plus four standard Type D roundels and fin flashes are included.

  • XM717 543 Sqn RAF Wyton 1986 Green/Grey

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheet. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all the schemes. A selection of data markings are included.

 

 

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

 

 

This release offers some nice alternative markings to create a customised Victor when you are building the new Airfix 1/72 scale B.Mk.2(BS).
