Xtradecal has released a new 1/48 scale decal set with eight options for the recent Special Hobby Junkers Ju 88 C-4 and D-2/4 kits.

Xtradecal offers a nice variety of colours, markings and roles.

Details are as follows:

• Ju 88C-4 R4+BL 3/NJG 2 Lt Heinz Volker Gilze-Rijen, Holland 1941, Overall black with shipping mission marks on fin;

• Ju 88C-4 R4+HK 2/NJG 2 Fw. Hermann Sommer, Overall black with shipping mission marks on fin;

• Ju 88C-4 R4+WK 2/NJG 2 Nth Africa, Overall black;

• Ju 88D-2 F9+CN 5(F)/122 Eastern Front winter 1942/43, white uppersurfaces with RLM70/71 oversprayed over RLM65, yellow wing tips, red spinners;

• Ju 88D-2 7A+MM 4(F)/121 Balkans 1941, RLM70/71/65 yellow trim;

• Ju 88D-2 5F-DM 4(F)/14 Eastern Front RLM70/712/65 yellow fuselage band and wing tips;

• Ju 88D-2 7A-FH 1(F)/122 Libya 1942, RLM79 Sand/RLM68;

• Ju 88D-2 Hungarian AF F9+15 1/1 Long Range Recce Sqn, Eastern Front, RLM70/71/65, red/white/green bands on tail.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all eight aircraft.

One set of Hungarian and one set of German national markings are included.

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

This release offers a great variety of camouflage and markings for anyone planning to build the recent Specal Hobby 1/48 scale Junkers Ju 88 C-4 and D-2/4 kits.
