This new publication from Mushroom Models Publications is in A4 size format and contains 13 pages. The quality of paper and printing is excellent. The publication is a gloss softcover publication and has foldout pages throughout.
The publication contains very detail line drawings of the Minekazi class in 1/350, 1/200 and 1/700 scale. The main focus for the review is on the detail contained in the 1/200 scale detail plans. The plans are also depicted as the ship looked in 1920, 1939 and 1944. Full hull profile plans are depicted providing the contours and the curves of the hull. Also included is a nice cross sectionalized drawing displaying all of the interior of the Minekazi. Detailed drawings are included of the following ship fittings:
A nice perspective illustration of the bridge structure of the 1920 period is also included.
There are currently a few 1/700 and 1/350 scale kits on the market that these plans will be an excellent resource for. Hopefully Mushroom Model Publications will publish some more scale plan publications for Japanese WWII ships, maybe even German, British and American ships of WWII.
Highly Recommended
