The sheet subject to a “first look” here offers 13 options that cover a variety of operational theatres and air forces, and include some post-war choices. The colour schemes range from bright and eye-catching to clean-cut and simple. All are appealing choices in my opinion.

I could not help but note the title to the sheet does not include either the B.Mk. IV or F.8 option included with the set (the F.8 was a converted B.Mk.XX used in the PR role by the USAAF). I should be the last person pointing out typos (definitely a case of throwing stones whilst living in a glass-house), as I am a terrible typist and a worse proof-reader. I mention this apparent oversight for clarification purposes only.

The decals are supplied in Xtradecal’s usual polythene zip-lock bag. The instructions are nicely produced in colour, and clearly indicate markings placement. A brief note regarding the aircraft and its location is given for each subject. Some entries include a modeller’s note drawing attention to aspects such as exhaust style fitted and the use of long-range slipper tanks. A list of Xtracolor paint codes is also provided for the colours required, as well as RAF colour-names. The decals appear superbly printed with excellent colour density and registration.
