Recommendation: |
A very simple and no doubt handy item to have, but I would have liked some information on users at least. Nonetheless, I am happy to recommend it to those who know more than I do about which aircraft can be modelled carrying it. |

PJ Production offers a modest range of aftermarket fighter-jet stores, amongst the latest of which is the cargo pod reviewed here. I know next to nothing about cargo pods other than their purpose. I assume that NATO has standardized them, and that this pod is an example of such, but I cannot be sure.
The pod comes packaged in a simple zip-lock plastic bag with card header.
The instructions consist of a small rectangle of paper with a drawing of the pod and advice as which is the front end, but no colour call-outs. Some information to guide a web search, or even air forces that use this pod, would have been useful I think, but none is provided in the instructions or on PJ’s website.
The pod consists of single resin piece. The quality of casting is good, and there is no pour-stub to remove.
A very simple and no doubt handy item to have, but I would have liked some information on users at least. Nonetheless, I am happy to recommend it to those who know more than I do about which aircraft can be modelled carrying it.
Thanks to PJ Production for the samples and images.
