1/72 scale is a good choice for a carrier deck diorama if display space is a critical consideration. Brengun has a growing range of accessories and kits aimed at Modern US carrier deck dioramas and vignettes. The accessory set reviewed here is a simple one, but also a most important detail for realistic deck scenes, since few items are more ubiquitous when it comes to carrier decks than tie downs.

 

 

There are 217 tie downs provided on the single PE fret, which comes in a cellophane bag stapled to a card header. The quality is good as is to be expected of Brengun.

 

 

I have used Brengun’s own images from their web-site as they illustrate the product well and in a fair manner.

 

 

Conclusion

 

An essential item for carrier deck scenes and definitely recommended.
