FirstLook

The PE Fret comes in Brengun’s standard card header with cellophane bag and instructions attached by staples. The instructions are well-drawn and easy enough to understand.

The parts address the cockpit quite extensively, given its very small size, and provide four different instrument panels to cater for differences between versions. The set also provides matrix faces for the radiator and oil cooler (two styles of the latter for different versions), a pitot, bomb-racks, guns-sight, tailplane braces and boarding step.

I have included a scan of the instructions that give a clear indication of the parts concerned. Some parts are truly tiny, so considerable care is needed when removing from the fret and fitting to the model.

The photos of the parts fitted to a partially assembled model are from Brengun’s website.

Conclusion

This is a most worthwhile detail set to enhance any of the Avia B.534 versions offered by Eduard; I am happy to recommend it.

Thanks to Brengun for the review sample.
