Barracuda Studios seem well known to many HyperScalers, and they have a well-established reputation for accuracy and offering quality products.
The types of wicker seats reviewed here were sometimes installed in a number of WWI British aircraft. These included the Sopwith Camel, Pup, and Triplane; RAF S.E.5 and R.E.8; the Airco DH.2 and more. They were a special order item from a catalog, and were well liked by RFC pilots.
The seats come on easy to remove casting stubs, and are packed in a plastic bag with card header. It should come as no surprise that the seats are flawlessly cast and capture the wicker basket-weave construction of the original very well.
There are three styles of wicker seat offered the three most popular aircraft scales of 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32. To see the full range please click here and simply type wicker seat in the ‘Search For’ box, and hit your Enter key.
I have chosen to use Barracuda Studios’ website images as these are a totally fair and accurate portrayal of the products, and better quality than I can manage with my camera.
Conclusion
These superb wicker seats are produced to a very high standard, and should improve the appearance of any suitable WWI subject; I highly recommend them.
