BarracudaCast is the resin accessory arm of Roy Sutherland's Barracuda Studios enterprise.

BarracudaCast has now released two drop-fit replacements for the seats in Revell's recent 1/32 scale Bf 109 G-6 and Bf 109 G-10 Erla kits.

Each of the two sets comprises a single seat in cream coloured resin.

BR32223 is a seat without harness straps.

 

 

BR32224 has shoulder and lap straps cast in place. The fabric and hardware detail combined with the subtle drape of the harness straps is excellent.

 

 

Both seats feature crisp and fine detail on the seat, the bulkhead and the rear deck.

The seats are cast to a block that includes the rear cockpit bulkhead. You won't need to remove the block though, as it will fit between the fuselage halves and will not be visible after assembly.

Casting and detail is up to BarracudaCast's usual standards on both my samples.

 

Whether you like cast-on harness straps or DIY, these new seats from Barracuda Studios are simple yet highly desirable finishing touches for your 1/32 scale Revell Gustav kits.
