I recently reviewed Meng's forthcoming 1/48 scale P-51D Mustang on HyperScale.

Last week, I described construction of the model.

Today I present a few photos of the completed model.

This may not be an ultra-simple kit for beginner modellers, but its glue-free approach offers a number of advantages to the average and experienced modeller in terms of positive fit and reducing the need for masking. Detail is very good, surface textures excellent and engineering is clever throughout.

The construction, painting and finishing of this model will be covered in detail in Issue 69 of Military Illustrated Modeller magazine.
