Hobby Boss' 1/72 scale P-51D Easy Kit is available online from Squadron
Here are a few images of my completed Hobby Boss 1/48 P-51D.

It's the Easy Kit so I thought I'd might make an interesting comparison to the Meng Kit.
My model is finished as an aircraft of 77 Sqn RAAF based at Iwakuni Japan in 1946-1947.

It's finished in Tamiya AS 11 with contrasting panels in Gunze Super Metallic Stainless Steel. I added un-cuffed prop blades from a Tamiya P-51 kit and the rear canopy section is from a Hasegawa P-51 Decals are from an Old Ventura sheet with kit stencils, but I elected to paint the Shark Mouth cutting a mask from Frisket.

The undercarriage legs are assembled correctly but Hobbyboss have elected to mould the oleo scissors on the wrong side...
