Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-47D Bubbletop is available online from Squadron.com for only $34.32!

This is my 1/48 scale Tamiya P-47D-20 with the markings of “Miss Mary Lou” from the 318th Fighter Group 19th FS (Saipan 1944).

The cockpit was modified with Eduard instrument panel and seat belts. Wheels replaced with Ultracast P-47 Thunderbolt Wheels, Diamond Treads.

Upper surfaces were painted Gunze Olive Drab and lower surfaces Gunze Neutral Grey.

Natural metal areas painted with Alclad metalizers.
