"Coming Home"

"Coming" Home Diorama

Tamiya 1/48 Bf 109 E-3 is available online from Squadron for only USD$24.00!

Description

Here is my latest project - a diorama named “Coming Home".

This has been built in scale 1/48 scale and shows a damaged Bf 109 at rail transport coming back to the factory for repair.

For this scene I used Tamiya's 1/48 scale Bf 109 E, Verlinden's German rai lcar, Hauler's buffer stop as well as figures from Hauler, Revell and CMK.

The building and the ramp are scratch built by using foam.

I also used some O Gauge railway equipment (brake cylinder, slack adjuster, couplings and markingings) for some extra detailing of the rail car because the original kit misses all these details and looked naked.
