Eduard's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 is available online from Squadron

Hot off the modelling bench, here are a few photos of my just-completed Eduard new-tool 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6.

I have finished mine as a G-14 (all the parts are right there in the box), with the markings from EagleCals decal sheet EC#46. I really liked the messy overpainting and puttying on the mid-fuselage and tried to replicate what could see in the reference photo.

I built the model using the Eduard BRASSIN cockpit, radio compartment and Eduard SUPERFABRIC harness straps plus Eduard camouflage and spinner masks.

This is a great kit - fast to build, well detailed, gorgeous surface textures and now, very accurate too!

I'll be writing this up in a great deal of detail for Issue 63 of Military Illustrated Modeller magazine.
