Tamiya's 1/48 P-51B is available online from Squadron.com for only $21.78!

There has been a lot of discussion about the 109 so by now it´s a matter of not having enough references but rather not having time enough to build so many interesting schemes. This is one of them, decals come in the Kagero ¨Battle of Britain¨ book with Cutting Edge crosses.

The model is built straight from the box except for decals. Very straight forward build with nice details although following Hasegawa´s tradition if you want ot build it with an open canopy an aftermarket one is definitly needed.

Painting was done with Model Master enamels and Mig washes, bit of active carbon here and there.
