This is the second issue from Kagero of a book on the Prinz Eugen and the second I have reviewed for Hyperscale.
Not much has changed - they’ve dropped one of the authors, changed some of the text plus some of the art-work and of cause added the 14 3D pages with 3D glasses at the rear of the book. I will not go into the basics of this issue as it’s much the same as the original. I will therefore put in a link for the original review.
I find the effect of the 3D pages somewhat questionable although I note that another major publisher in the model world is doing something similar so someone must see a benefit in it, I also find the 3D glasses hard to use.
Notwithstanding the above criticism, the artwork and detail is superb for anyone building any one of the Prinz Eugen kits in any scale
Thanks to Casemate UK for the sample.
