Extended Nose Leg
for the Airfix Kit

This is a simple replacement nose wheel leg from Freightdog to replace that of the Airfix kit to enable a proposed but unrealized variant to be made. This leg extended 30 inches over the original to assist with short take offs by increasing the wing’s angle of attack.

The new leg and two anti-torque links are packaged in a small plastic bag with a simple card header.

The parts have thin residual casting wafers to clean away (simply done) and they are ready for use. The casting is quite acceptable, but has a bit of cottage industry feel about it, and it is not as crisp and sharp as the best Czech brands.

Recommended if you wish quickly convert your TSR.2 to the variant with the extended nose leg.
