Roy Sutherland has sent the following information and images of the next releases in his range of accessories, which will be launched at Scale Model World next weekend:

Barracuda Studios is happy to share this preview of 5 new products to be released at Scale Model World in Telford, England on November 7th and 8th, 2015.

This is the first of two previews. next week we will share the balance of releases with you. It should be ten sets in all.

More sets were planned, but production delays have put them back a few weeks, although we will be showing some of these in test shot form at the show. more news to come!

Here's the gen on today's batch of new products, all of which are 1/48th scale.

48195 1/48th scale Spitfire Mk. VIII Snapshot Cockpit Upgrade

A quick and easy to install upgrade that just gives you just the interesting bits; the "hero" parts! Very little modification of the kit parts is needed to install the 27 tiny parts in this set. Cockpit door, retract quadrant, 2 types of throttle, 2 types of gunsight, two types of seatbelts molded into the seat castings and a host of other small parts are supported by a new film dial sheet with much more detailed instrument faces and a sheet of cockpit stencil decals. Lots of added detail to bring the kit cockpit to life, and fun to paint and install.

48270 1/48th scale RAF WWII Mid/Late War Fighter Pilot

Sculpted by the master of Epoxy putty, Mike Good! This fighter or fighter/bomber pilot is preparing for flight by buckling the strap on his flight helmet. Perfect for Typhoons, Spitfires, Tempests, Mosquitos, Meteors, even RAF P-47s and P-51s! Easy assembly and full instructions.

48261 1/48th scale Grumman Guardian Mainwheels

The Special Hobby Grumman Guardian kits are very nice, but the wheels are a little lacking in detail and have the wrong number of spokes! These beautifully detailed wheels were designed by Lee Coll based on careful measurements and photos he took of the Guardian at Pensacola. A quick and easy upgrade.

48279 1/48th scale Grumman Tracker Early Mainwheels

The Kinetic Grumman Tracker kits come with late style main wheels as fitted to all Trackers after the retrofit to upgrade the brakes was completed in the 1970s. Before that, all Trackers were fitted with these early style wheels. Available for the first time in 1/48th scale, Barracuda Studios' wheels are nicely detailed, accurate and easy to install.

Thanks to Barracuda Studios for the images and information
