The F4U is a modelling favourite of many, so new decals for this classic subject are sure to be most welcome. This latest release by Xtradecal features some interesting, unusual, and attractive options; as will be apparent from the accompanying images.

The set covers fifteen options and comes supplied in Xtradecal’s usual polythene zip-lock bag. The instructions are nicely produced in colour, consist of three double-sided A-4 sheets, and clearly indicate markings placement. A brief note regarding the aircraft and its airfield or station location is given for each subject. Unsurprisingly, a list of Xtracolor paint codes is also provided for the colours required.

The decals look to be superbly printed and with excellent colour density. The overall quality and number of subjects provided represent great value in my view.
