Our  new Airframe Stencil / Data & maintenance markings decal sets are now in stock and shipping. The initial selections cover four different aircraft types in various scales (depending on kit availability) across twelve different decal sets.

Each subject’s coverage features optional shape, size, and/or typographic variations for some markings, if such were discovered during the course of research. The extent of this treatment is greater for some aircraft types – for example, the Beaufighter sets include three different variations of rear fuselage trestle and sling markings while the Hurricane sets include two complete sets of different W/T [wire terminal electrical bonding] markings. Where applicable, notes are supplied on the particular uses of some of these individual stencil items.

B-24 / PB4Y-1 Liberator

Available in 1/72 and 1/48 scales. The 1/72 scale set includes enough markings for two complete models and the 1/48 scale set enough for one. This set is compatible with most B-24 / PB-4Y-1 finish schemes, excluding the Night (Matte Black) finished surfaces of the Night Bomber Scheme used on some RAF examples. However, many of the upper surface stencils may still be applicable to these aircraft.

May be useful for portions of the PB4Y-2 Privateer airframe as well.

Includes several variations for a number of common markings, including the fire extinquisher panels, fuel-filler caps on the wing upper surfaces, and electrical / mechanical inspection panels on the wing lower surfaces.

Beaufighter

Available in 1/72,1/48, and 1/32 scales. Each set includes enough markings for one complete model, but depending on how you use them, plenty of options mean that you could potentially net three models from two sets.

This set is compatible with most Beaufighter finish schemes, with the exception of the overall Night (Matte Black) finished surfaces of the early RAF Night Fighter Scheme and the Night undersurfaces seen on some intruder-tasked Beaufighters within some overseas commands.

Includes numerous variations for a number of common markings.

Typhoon

Available in 1/72,1/48, and 1/32 scales. The 1/72 and 1/48 scale sets each include enough markings for two complete models, and the 1/32 scale set enough for one.

This set is compatible with all (both?) Typhoon finish schemes.

Includes a few variations for some of the data and maintenance markings.

Hurricane

Available in 1/72,1/48, and 1/32 scales. The 1/72 and 1/48 scale sets each include enough markings for two complete models, and the 1/32 and 1/24  scale sets include enough for one.

This set is compatible with most Hurricane finish schemes, with the exception of the overall Night (Matte Black) finished surfaces of the early RAF Night Fighter Scheme and the Night undersurfaces seen on some Hurricanes in the intruder role.

Includes numerous variations for a number of common markings, and several variations of the special tropical/desert marking applied to the First Aid access panel of some RAF overseas command destined aircraft.
