BarracudaCast is the resin accessory arm of Roy Sutherland's Barracuda Studios enterprise.

Just in time for the brand new 1/32 scale Revell Bf 109 G-6, BarracudaCast has released five new sets of resin replacement wheels for Messerschmitt Bf 109 G and K kits. These new wheels will be suitable for any 1/32 scale Bf 109 G or K kit currently available.

Revell provides two choices of wheels, while Hasegawa and Trumpeter only offer a single version in each of their kits, so the additional styles offered by the Barracuda wheels is very welcome.

Just as importantly, the new resin wheels are beautifully detailed - clearly superior to the parts provided in any of the plastic kits. Raised seam and lettering detail on the smooth tyres is especually impressive, but detail throughout is crisp. Check out the bolt head details and ribs on the wheel hubs - just gorgeous.

Each wheel is supplied with the bottom of the tyres very subtly bulged and flattened.

Casting and detail is up to BarracudaCast's usual superlative standards on all my samples too.

Specifically, the five replacement resin wheels sets are:

BR48070 - Bf 109 G Wheels - Ribbed Hub, Ribbed Tyre.

BR48071 - Bf 109 G Wheels - Ribbed Hub, Smooth Tyre.

BR48072 - Bf 109 G Wheels - Plain Hub, Ribbed Tyre.

BR48073 - Bf 109 G Wheels - Plain Hub, Smooth Tyre.

BR48074 - Bf 109 G-10 and K-4 Main Wheels.

These are all simple yet highly desirable finishing touches for your Messerschmitt Bf 109 G and K projects.
