Here is my Special Hobby 1/72 scale Brewster Bermuda
This is one of the least known WWII aircraft.
Originaly, it was designed to serve on land and carriers in the light bomber role. However, it quickly became apparent that the aircraft was underpowered and the British didn't say what they do anything with it like americans.
Many British aircraft finish their life in a forgotten corner of an airfield or as training aircraft
Special Hobby released two 1/72 scale boxings of this elegant aircraft - one for the British version and one for the American version, alias the Buccaneer.
Prefering the British camouflage, I choose the Bermuda version
The kit is a multi material kit with photoetched and resin part adding to the plastic.
Due to its short run construction, plenty of attention is required during construction, especialy the interior.
The front engine cowling is too short and one plastic piece must be added to fit the beautifull resin engine
The dihedral wing is wrong. The kit proposes no dhiedral although the real aircraft has a large positive dihedral. This must be corrected
The cockpit must be adjusted in the fuselage and plenty test fitting is necessary to adjust all the element
In the end though, this is a great looking and well detailed model. You'd think it was a larger scale byt the level of detail supplied in the box.
