Revell-Monogram's 1/48 B-25J Mitchell is available onine from Squadron

Here is my 1/48 Monogram B-25J Solid nose with the markings  of “Emergency Strip” from 38th BG / 71st BS in Okinawa during August 1945.

The kit is old Monogram from 1991 with raised panel lines.

Modifications applied during consruction of the model are :

• Eduard seat belts

• Cutting Edge B-25 late type corrected cowling set for Accurate Miniatures.( They worked well  here on Monogram kit)

• Quickboost gun barrels

• True Details B-25 wheel set

• Resicast clear lens for landing/taxi  lights

I decided to built this B-25 without side gun packs due to my reference picture.

Decals are from “Albatros- B-25 Mitchell at war / Dragon and tigers and girls….oh my”  decal set.
