Mark Peacock has information about two new photo-etched releases, available now from Valiant Wings :

I am delighted to announce the following new accessories from Valiant Wings for 1/72 scale Airfix and other brand Hurricane kits, produced in collaboration with CMR and Eduard MA.

1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk I PE detail  set

Manufactured in the Czech Republic, this pre-painted etch set contains:

  • Instrument panel

  • Seat belts 

  • Canopy grab handles – 2x inner +1 x outer

  • Radiator intake mesh

  • Rear view mirror  

  • Foot stirrup

  • Pitot Tube Early version (an early two prong-also suitable for 1930’s RAF biplane fighters) +

  • Pitot Tube later version

  • Control column

This set will breathe life into the Airfix Mk 1 kit. With care it can also be used with other Hurricane Mk 1 kits whatever their origin

Manufactured in the Czech Republic, this pre-painted etch set contains:

  • Lock + rib for undercarriage wheel well

This set will add a new dimension to the new tool Airfix Hurricane IIc kit. With care it can also be used with other Hurricane IIc kits whatever their origin
