Mark Peacock has more information about two new resin releases from Valiant Wings :

Valiant Wings have added two new items to their range of accessories, this time for 1/72 scale Hurricanes.

1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk I detailing set (designed for Airfix kits)

Cast in resin in the Czech Republic this set contains the following:

• DH propeller spinner and blades

• Improved air intake

• Improved wheels

• Pitot tube

This set adds  a bit extra to the Airfix Mk 1 Hurricane, including some obvious omissions from the kit . It can also be used with other 1/72 Hurricane kits

Comes with parts list, general instructions and is packed in a sturdy box

1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk IIc detailing set (designed for new tool  Airfix kits)

Cast in resin in the Czech Republic this set contains the following:

• Corrected size one piece propeller blade unit

• Improved air intake

• Improved wheels

• Pitot tube

• Improved exhausts, fishtail and straight

• Improved cannons

This set corrects some of the obvious errors and omissions from the Airfix Mk IIc kit . It can also be used with other 1/72 Hurricane IIc kits

Comes with parts list, general instructions and is packed in a sturdy box
