Heinkel He 219 A-7
Stab I./NJG 1
Munster-Handorf, January 1945

Revell's 1/32 scale Heinkel He 219 A-2/A-5/A-7 will be available online from Squadron

Description

Here is Revell's 1/32 scale built by myself and painted by Chris Wauchop.

Actually, this short changes Chris a bit as he also assembled the undercarriage, scratch built new radar and added all the smaller external details.

A detailed in box review of this kit appeared on HyperScale in September.

Engineering and fit were generally very good.

This is a big model. In fact, I had to use two large white sheets of cardboard as a background; and a stepladder to get far enough away to take the overall high photos!

A detailed examination of the contents and construction of the cockpit is described in Part One of a short series in Issue 19 of ADH Publishing's newest model magazine, "Military Illustrated Modeller", which is available now.

The balance of construction, plus painting and finishing, will be covered in Part Two in Issue 21.

Military Illustrated Modeller is available at WH Smiths and other newsstands.

It may also be ordered online directly from the Military Illustrated Modeller website.

The electronic version is also available for iPad, iPod, Mac, PC and Android devices.
