Advantages:	Allows great latitude for you to accessorise your Eduard MiG-21MF.
Disadvantages:	Very minor point, sometimes it would be nice if the PE part was identified by a name so you could research its purpose.
Recommendation:	Great way to super detail your Eduard MiG-21MF ProfiPACK with exterior covers and ladder, or add great detail to your Eduard MiG-21MF Weekend edition.

Eduard has released a suite of photo-etched detail and accessory sets for its gorgeous new MiG-21MF:

MiG-21MF interior

(49569 MiG-21MF interior for Eduard kit and 49571 MiG-21MF late interior for Eduard kit).

The interior Photo Etch (PE) sets are not a replication of the PE fret provided in the ProfiPACK, they are complete sets that will detail the entire cockpit, ejection seat and interior of the canopy. They include subtle differences in instrument panel layout and details on the side walls of the cockpit. I would suggest once you identify what scheme you intend to build your MiG-21MF as, you will then need to ascertain if it is either an early or a late model MiG-21MF, then purchase the correct interior set. Cockpit photos provide an easy reference or knowing what models were operated by the various MiG-21MF operators will assist you.
The colour PE for the cockpit is self-adhesive, while the second PE, predominantly for the canopy, will require standard fixing methods. A small acetate sheet is provided to detail the right side wall of the cockpit.

MiG-21MF exterior

This is a very extensive set that will truly super detail your MiG-21MF exterior. Some areas covered by this set include angle of attack and Beta vanes, wheel wells, exhaust, brake lines, weapons pylons, wing fences numerous small parts on the tailplane, and PE for the various for weapons.

However, the instructions bottom right of page 4/4, I’m unsure what these are for or where they go once made, I have studied numerous images but I am unsure of their purpose.

MiG-21MF accessories

Consists of: Intake cover, drip tray, metal chocks, and a cover for the exhaust.

MiG-21 ladder

Consists of eight pieces and looks relatively straight forward in its construction

Conclusion

There are a lot of sets here.

Once you decide on the MiG-21MF scheme you intend to replicate, I strongly recommend that you look at using these Eduard MiG-21MF accessories to add that extra dimension to your build.
