Squadron has sent the following information and images of the latest release from Encore, a 1/72 scale Messerschmitt Me 328 pulse jet fighter available now from Squadron for USD$16.79:

Originally conceived as a low cost and simple escort aircraft, the parasite fighter variant of the Me 328 concept was to be towed or carried 'Mistel' style atop its host bomber.

The injection-molded airframe has engraved panel lines, and the kit features a vacuform canopy plus extensive resin parts (full cockpit, Argus pulsejets, landing skid, takeoff trolley, wing generators and control surfaces).

Decals are supplied for two conjectural Luftwaffe aircraft: prototype 'White 3' during test phase, 1943 and shark mouth emblazoned 'Yellow 4' of III./KG(J)54, 1944.
